First day of summer!

And I've got to clean for four hours. But I get to go to the Hong Kong Food Market and buy weird shit later.
Please excuse my hiatus. Larkin's got a nice summary of the events that took place the past week or two- it's all a happy blur for me anyhow, so I can't remember what took place on what days. I'm giddy these days. High on life and all that is good.

Larkin's party was tonight. Been preparing for that for awhile, and it was quite a nice experience. Got the chance to meet some really kickass people such as Stan, Skinhead Ex-Marine Ryan, and Paul. All nice guys, despite their rough exteriors. Paul intrigues me with his sound plan he's got laid out for his life- to open an artsy cafe after nine years of travelling around the country. Sounds nicer than majoring in computer science in some hellhole in New Jersey to me...

And so it was a good time. It always is with Larkin. You know, it's only been two and a half months since we started seeing each other. With all the time we very willingly spend together, it seems more like eight. I know her so intimately now it seems, and I feel closer to her than I've ever been to anyone before. It's a nice feeling to know a girl actually likes you back as much as you like her. Feels as though it could last forever.. Ah, it will be a great summer.

I think Rob needs help. Seriously. He's depressed. Somebody run up and give him a big hug, or something... Or better yet, someone deeply fall in love with him. I dunno. He's beyond my help

Someone help Todd too.

mysterious
You have a mysterious kiss. Your partner never
knows what you're going to come up with next;
this creates great excitement and arousal never
knowing what to expect. And it's sure to end
in a kiss as great as your mystery.

Today, a Monday of all days usually unholy and soulless, I am in a mood beyond all that is goodness. Even moreso after school. I don't know why this aura of sentimentality and appreciation of life has overtaken me specifically- I do think it has something to do with Larkin, and her making me happy, as she always does. Today, as we went on a casual romp through the wilderness, I had an insatiable hunger for warm embraces and soft kisses. I thrive on affection. It erodes all my beloved, harsh cynicism and jagged logic and puts me in a tranquil state. I yield to love alone. And I've finally found someone who I can believe when she speaks to me of her feelings for me, bringing tears to my eyes with her sincere honesty, tears that heal the bitterness I carry for my previously bumpy love life. Ah, to be young...

Switzerland
Switzerland -
A neutral power for as long as most can remember,
it has avoided war for several centuries.
However, it is still considered highly advanced
and a global power.

Positives:

Judicial.

Neutrality.

World-Renouned.

Powerful without Force.

Makes Excellent Watches, Etc.

Negatives:

Target of Ridicule.

Constant Struggle to Avoid Conflict.

Target of Criminal Bank Accounts.

Which Country of the World are You?

Swiss people are cool.
New poem. Is that all I post anymore?

Skeletal Dilemma

Spinal woe afflicts my being
Chiropractor needs my seeing
Aspirin only goes so far
My mood this misery does mar

Endless profanities I say
I feel my shattered vertebrae
Twisting round my ailing back
The bones will never cease to crack

Inherited through my grumbling dad
Genetic troubles make me sad
Though tail end always snaps and clicks
The popping sound's a nifty trick

Too tired to post anything but new poems. Arghh..

Allergic to Girls

Physical education:
Eavesdropping as I do
I heard a declaration
Confusing through and through.

A student, hair in curls
Stated, with a bellow
"I'm allergic to girls!"
Abnormal was this fellow.

"Are you gay?" the class replied
The chap said he was not
And as a girl came passing by
His nose discharged some snot.

Substitute Nazi

Programming is a class of ease
Slack off and eat as you please
Today, however, we're in the dark
Our substitute is Misses Clark

Threatening certain damnation
If I partake of caffeination
I must be inconspicuous
Her laws are quite superfluous

Dark-faced and unsightly
She spies on me nearsightedly
Unable to catch a glance
My sinful ways slowly advance

Middle-aged teaching colossus
Stealing privileges from us
Why must she live in a fury?
This substitute teacher's a nazi.

New World

Hoping for better habitation
We all traverse this earth
We think we've found the preservation
We remain and say"This is of worth."

Selective, after time we tire
Once content we now are weary
Languidly we shall retire
Our new home is truly dreary.

On the run as once before
In infinite abyssmal race
All new places seem a bore
Til' death locks us in close embrace.

Tiring Tuesday. Tiring indeed. Due to yearbook distribution, which, lacking my ID, I missed out on, we sophomores had the privilege of being released at 1:30 today. With only the cuteness of Larkin's pigtails to sustain me and God knows what to keep her going, the two of us rushed to the nearest Starbucks to purchase some chemical energy. It helped. A lot. A thousand thanks, Larkin, for the latte. And a thousand apologies for my damnable flowers being either dead or pointy! Alas, my days of fresh rose-giving are over. For now...

I've written a bunch of new poems. Check them out- I'm still under the impression that I'm halfway talented at this sort of thing. I've submitted several of my compositions to Hackwriters for publication, as I will most likely publish my poetry in a book someday.

Shit! It's Sunday already. This weekend has gone by far too fast. I want four extra days. It must be the pop concert's fault.

And, I must say, the pop concert this year sucked ass. I'm not going to pay any shred of attention to whatever speech Mr.Raddin gives about this one being the "best we've ever had" or a "spiritual experience" or some sentimental shit like that. To highlight a few of the worst things:

1.Poorly coreographed, annoying yet catchy Broadway tunes sung by the choirs
2.Poorly coreographed, annoying yet catchy Broadway tunes sung by soloists
3.Country music solos, complete with mutilated cowboy hats and off-key singing
4.Too much RELIGIOUS BULLSHIT music with some guy singing about Jesus and the guy's mother playing the piano
5.It was three hours long
6.My cat slept on my black pants, making them fuzzy and orange
7.I actually had to go to the fucking thing

But, there were also a few things to brighten my spirits.

1.Larkin was there
2.Larkin gave me a flower
3.Larkin kicks ass
4.We went to Starbucks afterwards

So passes one of the few choral events I can barely tolerate. I really love choir. Singing is cool. But I really can't stand this "pop" crap. Why do we even bother with coreography? We all look like disgruntled monkeys, waving our arms above our heads and holding hands to symbolize unity- which, by the way, I did not enjoy, standing next to Palisin. The only people that don't look that way are those overenthusiastic, foolish, ditzy, immature, grinning standleader types who act out the simple coreography like clowns. Thank you, Larkin. Thank you for sitting through that with me.

Yet another day spent with Larkin yesterday, in fact- escaping the clutches of her father, she drove over here following a cheerleaders' car wash. Now, Larkin has a far greater collection of anime than I. Compared to my huge amounts of anime on my computer, and a few Korean VCDs of Record of Lodoss Wars, she actually owns some physical videos of decent anime. The DVD she dug up yesterday, which I have been waiting to see for quite awhile, was Spirited Away. Made by those guys that did Princess Mononoke and some other neat stuff, this movie is veritably the most fucked up thing I've ever watched. Little frogs and giant "radish spirits" running around in a giant spiritual bathhouse with a little girl named Chihiro. It was neat...

You know, few types of people piss me off more than the ditzy, immature female who will actually ditch the guy on the first date. My poor buddy Todd was stood upby such an uberbitch, Nicole Weinberg! Just when I thought all would be well, Todd might have found himself a female companion, she doesn't even go to see the movie he asked her out to a week before! And on account of some "bad relationship" she'd just gotten out of. Dry your tears and at least keep your promises, you MERETRIX!

Sigh. At least I still maintain my immeasurable happiness. Not only am I feeling better than ever, we've got just a few weeks until school's out! I think I can last that long.

Tuesday! Glorious, insert adjective Tuesday! I am looking through my beloved new pair of GLASSES, and at the grainy reflection of my computer monitor off my new TROGDOR bumper sticker. New stuff kicks ass. And what's enlightening, what infuses me with a joy greater than eating a cookie is the simple fact that I CAN SEE! My vision's resolution has multiplied! I can see the leaves in the trees! The text on the television! The fucking notes on the overhead! I could do work in school if I wanted to! (no need, I have a 94 in English and a respectable 80 in geometry)

The weekend went well. I've described Friday, and Saturday came lacking a Mormon LAN party and presenting a vast abundance of boredom. I sat around and played CS a lot. I'm posting on that kleinforums thing more often these days too, though I'll never change the fact that most of the members are retarded. Mark Anderson pwnz Christianity at least. The evening of that day became a bit more interesting when Larkin and I set off for an adventure at Meyer Park. Running around like ninjas, escaping the clutches of the evil golf cart patrolman, and eradicating Larkin's fear of being picked up. We returned to my house to "watch" Jurassic Park, a favorite movie of mine, afterwards.

Sunday held another adventure for the both of us: making cookies! Despite missing some critical ingredients, we improvised with what we found in my messy pantry (ex. almond extract, baking chocolate, half & half). Our cookies kick ass. I would go so far as to say that they pwn.

Yesterday, after receiving my new glasses from Texas State Optical, I had the profound idea to go for a walk around my neighborhood, and observe with the new lenses what has not been observed in a very long time. I thought to myself, "why go alone?" and had Larkin accompany me on my walk. Rather enjoyable was it to see sharply the leaves on the trees, the street signs, peoples' faces, etc. Seeing the houses of friends either faded away or relocated appealed to my nostalgic sense as well. Jackie Maitland, Katie Maier, David Muzal, Kevin and Paul Young, Tim Harris, Erica Moses, and even Adam Pope left me with some fond memories of my childhood. Where have you all gone?

Today's been a decent day, as it is the first school day I've had the ability to see faraway objects without mulcting Todd's glasses. Amazing. I can see my friends waving or coming at me from half a mile away. It's almost hard to get used to.

Oh, check out my website. It's almost cool.

Driven by silly, yet perverse late-night humor, lend me your bloodshot eyes- for I blog.

This week has been awesome. I say that in the sense that, due to my new diet of black tea and (more) sarcasm, I now have a lot more energy in the mornings. I actually feel pretty decent at school. Caffeine fuels my flamethrower-style ego to attack the ethics of all that is considered good, and also provides me with immeasurable sex drive. I am absolutely crazy about that little technicolor-haired thing that drives me around all the time. I need to do some really bad shit so I can be on the same level of hell as her someday.

In the other sense, the academic one, this week was the crappiest ever. Forced to take the very Fascist TAKS test in a room with mold-infested ventilation shafts four days this week, I nearly died of boredom. Monday spared me the morning to catch up on some lost sleep, which helped to put me in the constant state of hyperactivity I've been immersed in recently. The other four days, I preoccupied the free two and a half hours in the morning by either trying to sleep, reading my giant Edgar Allen Poe collection, or writing poetry and art-filled notes to Larkin. My previous post holds the link to the works I composed in that standardized testing hell. Dullness is inspiring, as there are really a lot of little amusing things you can write about! Like a nickle, or a wooden apple!

A new spawn of my morbid imagination has taken the form of Bob the Magic Duck, a top hat-wearing, wand-wielding Satanist waterfowl. He calls on the powers of EL DIABLO to smite infidels! I'll get myself some hosting space on 50megs.com and make a few of em. It's fun as hell.

Thursday, Larkin and I ran away from home to tromp off in the boonies and pick berries. Following our little excursion was a trip to Starbucks. Did you know that Starbucks happens to be the fountain of youth? The fountain spurts latte in the morning, and tea in the evening. Simply buy six venti servings of either, have a caffeine seizure, die of staggering hypertension, and be preserved forever!

And today (or yesterday, as my post draws to an end at 1:16 AM), that shadowy, fanged female demon and I went out for dinner and a movie. Chicago kicks ass. It is one of the two musicals I can not only tolerate, I adore. The other is Moulin Rouge. Jazz, hard liquor, killings, and sexy prison inmates. With MUSICAL NUMBERS! It kicked ass! And with the best of movie companions! My week contained two Starbucks trips in two days! We ran off to Barnes and Noble after the movie to tamper with their system of reference (ex. place pro-homosexual books and The Big Book of Lesbian Sex in the Christian Literature section) and grab some coffee. I do believe I've found the best companion in the world. She loves to do all sorts of things I do and more! Oh, I will dream of our crazy capers for years to come!
My dear Larkin has taken the liberty of posting my latest poetic works here. Have a look- I'm recently under the impression that I'm not bad at this shit.
